Fancy S'mores!

Fancy S'mores!

Not in the mood to make traditional s'mores?  Looking for something different?  Well, look no further!  These yummy s'mores alternatives are not only easy to make & fun to eat, but they're pretty, too!  ðŸ™‚

Step 1-Simply, grab your s'mores ingredients: graham crackers, marshmallows & chocolate.  If you have lollipop sticks, those are handy to make them look fancy.  But, honestly, just forking the marshmallow will work.

Step 2Marshmallows: Put lollipop sticks in one end (or a fork…or your fingers).  ðŸ™‚

Step 3-Graham Crackers: Next crush your graham crackers into crumbs.  I toss a few in a large ziplock bag and smash them with a rolling pin or a big wooden spoon.  This is a good stress reliever, too!

Step 4-Chocolate: Melt chocolate bars either in a double boiler, or slowly in a microwave.  I highly recommend melting the chocolate over a double boiler, or just use a pot and hearty glass or metal bowl.  Just remember that the bowl will be hot!  & don't forget to add water to your pot before putting the chocolate in your bowl.  If you chose to microwave your chocolate, be careful.  Start with 30 seconds, then stir and cook in 10 second increments after that until chocolate is nice and gooey.

Step 5-Once chocolate is melted, grab your marshmallows and smother them in the chocolate.  I just roll them around to be sure they are sufficiently covered.  Next, roll them around again, but this time in the graham cracker crumbs.  Be sure to keep chocolate warm, since you want it to stick to the marshmallows and hold onto the cracker crumbs.

Step 6-Repeat steps 2-6!

Step 7-Lastly, and most importantly, EAT & ENJOY!!!….& try to share!

It's that easy!
